The things I love: readingI reading, writing, painting, shooting, hunting, fishing, football, my dogs, my family, my friends. Most importantly though, I adore food.
Going to the Summerville farmer’s market is one of my most favorite things to do. If you asked me to choose between clothes shopping and grocery shopping, more often than not it will be the latter. Don’t get me wrong, I love the a good shopping trip and I read American, British and French Vogue but food is my first love and passion.
I have started this blog in the hopes of finding an effective way to store all my thoughts and opinions on food. I tend to blow up my Twitter with my musings on food, including pictures. Yes, I’m that person. Hopefully, this blog will provide a better outlet for my passion for food. Maybe someone will even find it useful or entertaining.
I’m the sort of person who can’t function without some sort of creative outlet; usually cooking has taken care of that. Since I’m not just cooking for myself anymore, I’ve felt the need to record what I do so I have something to reference. This is my latest experiment.
On a more personal note, I’m twenty-three and have a great job. I moved into my cozy three-bedroom house a few months where my hunny and I live with our Bluetick Coonhound-mix, Lola and our Treeing Walker Coonhound, Ava. My dream career would be something involving lots of good food, writing, people, a little art and good music always playing.
